The event will take place at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT), Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from June 17-21, 2024. The KIT is conveniently located in Amsterdam Oost, right next to a large park (Oosterpark). Two different tram lines connect the location with the city centre (about 10-15 min by tram) and with Schiphol airport (about 30 min by train to Muiderpoort station). Schiphol airport is one of the major airports in Europe and is easily reached from all over the world.
We recommend spending some extra time before or after the conference in Amsterdam, as it is a fantastic city. Visit one of the many famous museums such as the Van Gogh Museum or Rijksmuseum, see the typical, centuries-old canal houses and don’t forget to try one of the local specialties such as “stroopwafels” or “bitterballen”.
