A limited number of Conference scholarships is available for young scientists and students from developing countries. The Scholarship waives the Symposium registration fee and provides a lumpsum of 750 euro – after the Symposium - to contribute to travel and hotel expenses of the scholarship recipient. The recipient will need to attend the Symposium and contribute a presentation.

Eligibility criteria:

Eligible are:

• PhD students affiliated to universities or research institutes from developing countries
• Postdoctoral researchers or Early Career scientists (up to 5 years after obtaining the PhD title) affiliated to universities or research institutes from developing countries

Submit the scholarship application form below  explaining why you believe it is important that you attend the 5th Plant Microbiome Symposium and why your institution cannot cover the costs.

Important Dates

• Deadline for Conference Scholarship Award applications: March 17, 2024 (CET)
• Notification of award: March 27, 2024 
• Award acceptance deadline: March 30, 2024

Recipient Notification:

Awardees will receive an e-mail notification from the Symposium organizers. Award recipients need to confirm the acceptance of this award before the award acceptance deadline.

An award recognition session will be held at the Symposium.
